NexusCare Connect is companionship for older people in England, delivered by vetted university students and arranged with the help of family.
Our mission
Many older people live alone and go days without a proper conversation. At the same time, thousands of students live nearby and want meaningful, flexible work. NexusCare Connect brings them together for regular, friendly visits: a walk, a game of cards, help with a video call, or just a cup of tea and a chat.
Real connection
Loneliness is not solved by a rota. We match people on shared interests so visits feel like time with a friend.
Safety first
Every companion is DBS-checked and completes safeguarding training before their first visit.
Families kept in the loop
Families can follow visits live and read a short note and wellbeing update afterwards.
